Cox Communications Give Back

Cox Communications awarded a $1000 grant to Old Dominion University's and Hampton University's 2011 Solar Decathlon team, Team Tidewater Virginia, Saturday afternoon as part of their wireless celebration.

The grant is one of many ways in which Cox has given back to the community, and the money will go toward the $600,000 it will take to fund Team Tidewater's overall costs, including construction, marketing, and transportation.

The celebration took place at Cox's Hampton Solutions Store in the Peninsula Town Center. The store was crowded with eager people who came to check out Cox's wireless services and to be a part of the celebration.
